Waterford City and County Council wished to create a modern and inspiring library in the new Carrickpherish Campus. It will principally serve the Northwest suburbs of Waterford City and is situated between two primary schools on a landmark corner site.
This Community library will be used for reading, book selection, study, library events for children and adults, educational courses, class visits, community activities, meetings and workshops. There will be a large number of class visits and a welcoming atmosphere providing space for study and more social use will be generated.
